5. DESCRIPTION
5.1 The Scrap consists of a mix of mill scrap (stampings, cuttings, bars), industrial scrap (nuts, bolts, misc, pieces), auto and truck frames and bodies, railroda scrap (wheels, axles, parts of locomotives and carriages). Ship scrap (fittings, plate pieces, parts), construction scrap (plate, bars, angle pieces, rods, steel pipes) and miscellaneous commercial scrap (appliance casing, frames and parts). The scrap will be free from toxic chemicals, radioactive material, inflammables, explosives, organic matters originated from animals or plants with danger of epidemic diseases and medical waste. The scrap will also be totally free from bombs, arms and ammunition, mines, shell, cartridges, sealed containers, gas cylinders, explosive shells or explosive materials in any form. The non-metallic impurities will be 1% or less of the total contract quantity.
